What is ISO 14001?
  • An international voluntary standing for Environmental
    Management System.
  • This standard is developed based on the PDCA cycle as the
    framework.
  • ISO 14001 standard was released in year 1996 and was revised
    in year 2004.
  • The Standard requires an organization to look into each and every
manner in which it interacts (environmental aspects) with the
environment and to identify the level of significance of the
    interaction.
  • The environmental performance improvement is achieved by
taking action against significant environmental aspects.
Caring for Environment
More and more organizations are becoming concerned on their
environmental footprints.  Some of them are even deriving substantial
benefits from being environmentally responsible. So far we have
completed 16 ISO 14001 assignments. These clients have
completely eliminated certain waste streams and have converted
waste streams into valuable resources.  We have helped them to
practice Pollution Prevention rather than Pollution Control and shown
them that Environmentally Responsible Manufacturing, in fact, is more
cost effective.  Our extensive exposure to pollution prevention
methods, pollution control technologies, best practices in Fortune 500
companies, our extensive databases on Environmental Topics, in
depth knowledge on Legal Requirements and extensive experience in
Industrial activities have contributed to successful completion of such
assignments.
